A man has been charged with the murder of a Tamil man who was shot dead in his own home. Unemployed Nagarasa Sivukumar, 32, of Northchurch Rd, Wembley appeared at Brent Magistrates Court on Thursday, last week, charged with murdering Suresh Kumar Selvarajah, 26, on Monday 22.4.02 at his home in Lyon Park Avenue, Wembley.

He has also been charged with attempted murder of a second man, Pretheepan Paramalimgham, aged 22, the same day at Rupert Avenue, Wembley.

Sachithan Ragulaperliman, 26 of Brentvale Avenue, had also appeared before Brent Magistrates on Monday April 29 charged with making threats to kill against Mr Paramalimgham.

Thirteen men, aged between 19 and 40, had been arrested on Friday, last week, by police investigating the murder.

One was arrested from a residential poperty in North Church Road, Wembley and 12 from another address in Brentvale Avenue, Wembley, where two swords were also recovered by officers.

A post mortem carried out at Northwick Park Mortuary the day after the victim was killed gave cause of death as a single gun shot to the chest.
